3A – Your Entrepreneurship Story
When I was growing up and too young
for a job, I wanted to earn cash, so I would do little side hustles with
friends. With my twin brother, we would do lemonade stands in the front of the
neighborhood as cars came in. We would make the minute made lemonade, bike a
wagon with the lemonade and a table down to the front of the neighborhood and
sell the juice until we ran out. Then we would bike back, make more and be back
in business. With my other friend, he loved animals and decided to start a pet
sitting company. We went through the process of creating flyers and marketing
to the neighborhood why us 12-year-olds were responsible enough to watch their
pets. We were actually able to secure a few gigs. Lastly, I joined my friend
and his dad is a lawn mowing startup and would work weekend mornings to mow a
few lawns which provided decent cash.
I took ENT to obtain some credits
while having some fun. I’m always hopeful I can come up with some intelligent
idea to change the world one day, but until then I enjoy following the leaders
of our society and thinking about the world’s problems. I hope to gain a
mindset and lifestyle to think about the world in a different perspective going
forward.

Hi Grant,
ReplyDeleteI really liked the story of you being a young entrepreneur by selling lemonade. You gave numerous examples of how entrepreneurship was a part of your life as a kid, which I found interesting. I also took ENT to obtain credits while having fun. Eventually, I would like to gain helpful insight into what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
